1. Introduction and scope

YammTech ("YammTech", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. 3. Personal information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with YammTech. It may include:

• Contact and identity information, such as your name, business email address, personal or business telephone number, job title, company name and preferred contact method.
• Lead and audit information, such as your business website or social media page, service interests, current digital challenges, whether you work with another provider, and answers submitted through a website or Meta lead form.
• Communications, including emails, direct messages, WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram conversations, call notes, meeting details, feedback and support requests.
• Client and project information, such as proposals, contracts, service requirements, account contacts, project files, approvals, deliverables, campaign information and performance data.
• Billing and transaction information, such as invoicing details, payment status and records needed for accounting. Payment card or banking information may be collected directly by third-party payment processors rather than stored by YammTech.
• Website and device information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps, cookie identifiers and interactions with our website or advertisements.
• Marketing preferences, including consent status, subscriptions, campaign engagement and unsubscribe requests.
• Job or contractor application information, if you apply to work with us, such as your resume, portfolio, employment history and professional qualifications.

Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Do not send sensitive personal information, passwords, payment credentials or confidential third-party data unless YammTech specifically requests it and an appropriate secure method has been agreed.

4. How we collect information

We may collect personal information:

• Directly from you when you complete a form, request an audit or quote, book a call, subscribe to updates, sign a contract, communicate with us or use our services.
• Through Meta Instant Forms, click-to-message advertisements and other advertising or social media platforms. The platform may prefill certain contact information and also handles information under its own privacy terms.
• Automatically through cookies, pixels, analytics technologies, server logs and similar tools when you use our website or interact with our digital advertising.
• From clients, team members, contractors, service providers, referral partners or publicly available business sources, where permitted by law.
• From business systems used to manage projects, customer relationships, communications, billing, advertising and analytics.

5. How we use personal information

YammTech may use personal information for the following purposes:

• To respond to inquiries and communicate with prospective and current clients.
• To review a business's digital presence and prepare a requested free digital growth audit.
• To assess needs, prepare proposals, provide estimates and recommend relevant services.

We may still send non-promotional communications that are necessary to respond to your request, manage a client relationship, provide services, issue invoices or address security or legal matters.

YammTech does not sell personal information for money. We may use advertising and analytics services that involve sharing limited online identifiers or conversion information, as described above.

9. International processing and cross-border transfers

YammTech operates with a global delivery model. Personal information may be accessed, processed or stored in Canada and in other countries where our personnel, contractors or service providers operate, including Pakistan and the United States.

When information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of the foreign jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or national security authorities in that jurisdiction. YammTech remains accountable for personal information transferred to service providers for processing and uses contractual, organizational and technical measures that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and the nature of the services.

10. Retention and disposal

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, maintain business and consent records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, accounting, tax, insurance and regulatory requirements.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and relationship. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely delete, destroy or anonymize it, subject to technical limitations and lawful backup retention cycles.

11. Safeguards and security

YammTech uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity, volume, format and location of personal information.
